Hi!
Last week I wrote a brief introduction to the Sangean WRF-28D Dab/FM/Internet
Radio, I've been playing with the set for a week now and here's my notes,
comments and observations.
This portable radio is thoroughly recommended as its feature packed and most

Hi!
I've made considerable progress with this tuner since I last wrote about it
nearly a fortnight ago.
The tuner sounds brilliant! on all bands - even AM - which is most pleasing.
I can tell you that the best way to control the tuner is with its compact
remote control unit which runs on a coi

Mary,
Thank you, and that could be handy. I might have to look into that. To be
clear, though, for Gary's purposes, this isn't a requirement to use the Apple
TV.
Best regards,

That's correct if you want to do that sort of thing, I hope I explained that in
an earlier message I sent.
You can also use the IOS with your Apple TV in the form of a remote controller
with the "Apple Remote" app from the Apps store.
As stated originally, an iPhone etc isn't necessary for the
To be honest I don't know, something I'll have to try, never thought about that

Steve,
Just fyi: if you have an iPhone, or an iPod for that matter, not sure
about the iPad, there is a free remote app from Apple that will let you
use the i-device as a remote to control the Apple tv, rather than using
the remote that comes with the A-tv.

I am very new at this so may not be correct. I think the iPhone and
Apple TV combination will allow a person to stream a radio station
from the iPhone to the amplifier which has the Apple TV box connected
to it. This is good if you have an amp rather than a receiver hooked
to your stereo. In ot
Gary,
As stated before, getting an Apple ID is a good idea and might be required, but
you don't need an iPhone for that. As a matter of fact, I don't know of any
way the iPhone will help with Apple TV except that if
you had music on your iPhone you could play it through your Apple TV.
Best
Nice explanation. May I add that "Bluetooth keyboard" includes any
Bluetooth braille display such as HumanWare's Apex.
