Yes, they all nice, but since the guy here have audible as his main
concern, I stil suggest the stream, because with the pocket and
bookport plus you con't add bookmarks in the same fassion if at all in
an audible book, and they support less formats. The booksense support
audible but it can
Hi,
But the ability to be able to connect a bluetooth headset and the much
better speed really is a plus for the book sense xt.
And the navigation isn't so difficult as you suggest.
Al.Also the carieing bag optional that fits the Book Sense nicely is a big
plus, when you go portable.

What is a good bluetooth headset for the Hims products?

There is also a good-quality leather case with a strap that you can buy for the
Stream that makes it highly portable. No need of Bluetooth.

Well you have many options.
The sound bar from Bose is really exelent, but most headsets will do fine.

HI,
Also for the Stream 2? Cool!
I didn't know that. I must ask my vendor, if he has a such. I have a great
bluetooth headset, which can automatically switch from my iPhone to a Book
Sense, and back again.
So when you're in a bus or a train you can both listen to audio books, and

Brian,
I hadn't thought bout that advantage for Bluetooth. Chalk one up for your

I have all 3 devices. I purchased the New Generation Victor Reader Stream
in July. It hasn't been on the market long enough to judge how well it will
hold up over time.
I've had a Book Port Plus for 3 years and have had no trouble with it.
I purchased the BookSense when it was released 4
Hi!
Thought list members may find this review interesting, seems that the
Bose Soundlink Bluetooth unit is still the best to have if you can
afford 1 but the new Logitech U.E. Boombox isn't far behind.
I never intended to buy it, but just to see how the new Art Bell show was, I
decided to trial serious XM with my computer using XP and Jaws. Boy! was that a
mistake. It doesn't seem to work at all. I'm fairly advanced using the computer
and can't even log in using either fire fox or explorer.
Yes, it seems that as far as hardware is concern, hims is not always
doing very wel there. And navigation in a title is not difficult, I
just ment that file organization might be a bit easyer on the stream.
But it will depend on what you willing to cope with and want to learn.
I no of someone who

Ok, so at least now I've narroed my choices down to the Victor Stream
or Book Port Plus. Is there any audio demonstration available
shocasing either of these 2 devices? I'm curious if they've ever been
put in a head-to-head test to see which one faired better?
Right now it looks like they
to add to this thread somewhat you're not going to get very far with the IPhone

Currently, The Book Port Plus, in addition to playing books, also plays web
radio stations and downloads and plays podcasts. I am hoping that these
features will be implemented on the Victor Reader Stream in the future.

Interesting. Can you store the web radio stations in presets? So
instead of having to navigate a bunch of menus to load up your
favorite station, you could simply press a preset button.

Good evening all,
Having experienced both the SXM online listening page and the iPhone app I
would definintly conclude the app is considerably more accessible than the
audio streaming website. However, one has to do a bit of tweaking to make
the app navigable. For one thing, the main menu buttons
