Hi list, i am feeding audio from a cassette player in to my computer,
and the sound is coming through the computer speakers. soundforge is
not receiving the input, so i can't record it. can anyone help. i
don't know what to do. brian.

Seem to remember that in Soundforge you must choose the input source
i.e. line in.

It would appear that you have line in selected in your volume playback
settings, but not in your recording settings. Open your
volume settings, select properties then recording and make sure that line in is
checked.

For the playback and record settings, go to the volume control from the
system tray, not the sound app in the controlpanel.

I don't know of a program to do that although I know they are out there. I
do know of a webpage that will convert all kinds of audio and text files.
