I don't care. It's gonna rock the world of access to written text for us,
and take it one step further.
Just sad that it came out 10 years too late. grin

hi,
Not correct. Victor Stream 2 doesn't have bluetooth connectivity, which is
amazing if you use it together on the go with a dual pairable bluetooth
headset on the go.
Book Sense xt has that feature, and I asume the new also will have that.

I agree with you but on this occasion unfortunately much of the technology the

Now you've got something there, the VR Stream! should have been out 10 years
ago, fancy a device in this day and age not having Bluetooth? I wonder what the
people who designed the second generation VR Stream were thinking, is it

Hi all
I know this kind of thing has been talked about a lot but I am new to this.
Ive never had to look at this so Im starting from scratch.
Im perhaps considering streaming music from my computer to my hifi system
in another room. At present I have a too long cable doing the same but
It may need the radio or how ever that works if it doesn't have it.

this along with the mp3 player in the xt not being as good really makes
me edgy about this being a good product. when they added voice commands
to the xt it worked for a short time. then they did another fermware
upgrade and the voice commands went away. at least on mine. they should

Gosh! The least they could do would be to include a gps with realtime

The Blaze EZ will have Bluetooth, but not the latest version. I hope it
will be better implemented than it is in the BookSense XT. You can't
control the BookSense from a headset. I've had trouble keeping a Bluetooth
connection with my XT and my Plantronics 590 headset. I have no such

Dennis,
The Voice Recognition feature went away because HIMS claimed that it wasn't
being used by many of their customers. They licensed voice recognition from
another company, and they didn't want to continue paying the license fee.

thanks gary. i didn't know that. they didn't even give it enough time to

Better Bluetooth 3.0 than Bluetooth 2.0, at least the band width's better.
Yes Bluetooth 4.01 would be most refreshing but perhaps there are some issues
in the implementation or perhaps the hardware could be updated in the future?
I'm only speculating of course but perhaps some compromises have

Very true. I don't like that idea of compromising just to get the thing out
the door though. Dude, just take your time with it, make it way epic, and
it'll be even more cool. If it is so they did that that is.

A storage card capacity of 128GB sounds good though. You could get a lot of
