Hi sunshine, i don't use balabolka, because some months ago i tried to use it, but couldn't make it work. i didn't know that i needed the lame incoder, and had no friend who was using it. i am now using text to mp3. i have only converted one file. it was 525,898 bytes long. how big is the file

You can set the default program for any file extension in Windows, this should take care of your problem, it also depends on the mime type being sent from the website. You can always do a save target as in the right click menu on the link instead of just hitting enter as well. Tom Kaufman
