Windows Media Player won't play DVDs

WMP chokes when I try to play a DVD. It's fine with AVI, WMV, MPG, ETC. I associated VOB with WMP, I changed the display resolution and color depth to minimum values, and still no success. Registry Mechanic doesn't flag Registry errors. Anyone have a clue for me? Thanks. --- Dale
