I am looking to replace my existing pc with a new one. Would a new 64 bit processor dramatically speed up the editing of audio using Soundforge and goldwave compared to a 32 bit processor. I've been looking at Alienware. Does anyone on the list have one of their machines? __

For people in the UK there is either the pc card or usb box that will pick up freeview and also audio description on the channels which carry it. running vb script to make archos accessible

i've downloaded and installed the rockbox software to make the Archos talk. There's also a vb script called mp3ClipGen.vbs which when you run it creates names of folders on the archos which are subsequently spoken. I've tried running the file but instead of running it it opens in wordpad. I have
