Subject: Archos and recording
I am trying to record on an Archos recorder 20 with the rockbox software. I
have tried recording both with the built-in microphone and the line in.
Files are created but they have 0 bytes. Can anyone help.

I have the 15 gig recorder. I never could get rockbox to talk for me when I loaded it.
I became very frustrated with it. I would hit the menu and record would be the first
choice. I had someone set it up for external in the menus and that is what comes up
when I choose record. I just hit play tw
Which version of the device do you have? And, are you using the oft discussed "rock
box" software toward those
ends?
