it was that a friends daughter was having trouble converting mp3 to cda and
writing the cd at the same time due to buffer under run errors.
she has an old slow external cd writer and probably not a very powerful
laptop and we were looking for a method of separating the conversion and
I must have missed the original thread. Why are you not going right to the
burn process after choosing your tracks for the cd?

it's a longer method but at least it works.
encase anyone else has the need for such a work around here are the steps.
1 open nero and choose audio cd and click new
2 select the mp3 files you want to burn and add them to what is t
Pete! The way I've dealt with this problem is to create an "Image" of
the CD on the hard drive, then burn the Image to the CD. There're probably
options for this in the burner software.
