It's not an amplifier but a plug-in that is required for the playing of GameDay Audio. Despite some folks making a big deal about this plug-in, it has worked seamlessly for me and most users. There are apparently ways to work around it if one is having problems, but give it a try first b

My trick with archived major league games is to first record the archive using total Recorder, though I suspect replay a/v would also work. That gives me total control over the game. I do this especially because I don't necessarily tend to listen to an entire game, I'm just looking for part of it
