But with some TV tuner cards, the lack there is of it.

That's a lot of valuable information. I think I might actually watch tv
more if i could record like the rest of the world has been for seven or
eight years.
so the software recognizes your cable box or how does
can't remember where I read it, but you might want to visit Microsoft site. I
learned just earlier this week, Microsoft will extend support for XP for
another 5 years.
hth!

Hi Clifford, when you say you play DVDS, are these single movies on a
disk? Or are they show episodes?
This very much interests me, since I can get movies to play, but my Star
Trek or Mash or Monkees episodes do not want to play on my computer.
Thanks, Vicky

Even with Windows, the initial set up is best accomplished with some sighted

asked last week but hadn't seen a response, and using Media Center is

Thanks so much for your help.

Hi everyone. I'm looking in to getting a new desktop pc but not really sure

like to hook up my tv / cable box so I can have some form of control.
Any tips or places to go for some information?

I've heard that there may be a little less functionality with VISTA or Windows
7 Media Center computers, but can't attest to that.
If you have questions, I'll try
