it really depends on the size of the book, if they are smaller you can get
above 18 books on a two gig cartridge.

Sounds like you got a USB drive like I have. Grab each end of it, and
gently pull. You should get one part that protects the USB port, and the
other part, which is the drive. Also, grab the ends so you have the flat
part between your fingers.

I'm not sure what you already have Tom since you

female connector at the other end. Note that due to the housing on the NLS
cartridge, many USB extension cables aren't going to work, and you may find
it best to buy a cable from ILA, APH or Perkins especially designed to work
with the NLS cartridges.
