I think you're right Steve. My bluetooth stack installs an additional
sound card, Bluetooth AV Audio, which it switches to on the fly as soon
as the headphones are connected. When disconnected, it switches back to

As you know I have a pair of Sennheiser headphones that supports both
bluetooth and the traditional 3.5mm audio cable. My observations are
