The only thing I can think of could be a minor disadvantage is the fact that
it doesn't write dvd movies or dvd audio. Only dvd data can be written as I
read the specifications.

Hello,
In response to the recent thread on the new cd burning software, I went to
the premier assistive website,
and in fact there will be a trial version available on 9/09/04.
I didn't find any further imformation about the trial version, only the
projected availability date.
