Hi, thanks larry, i found the beep and it works in my version. which is
mp3gain_win_ful_1_3_4.
as for putting the files back to the original, i use a copy of the files
until i find out how well they have come out. thanks for your last message

Hope the following is of some use.
Using MP3GAIN To Set A Selection Of Tracks To the Same Volume
1.. To select all tracks in a given folder:
1.. Press control + D to open the Add Folder dialogue
2.. Use the up and down arrow keys to navigate the folders on your hard
