Judy, the USB turntable that was mentioned a few months back is the Newmark
TTUSB. It comes with Audacity and works just fine with speech. I bought
mine new on eBay for quite a bit less than retail.

One of my distributors carries two of these USB Turntables. The one
from Neumark is $165.00 and plays 33s and 45s. It's not in stock. Can you
believe there are 400 on backorder. The other one is $145.00 but only plays
45s and there are 800 on backorder.

The new TEAC GF-350 AM/FM Radio Turntable has a vinyl record player
and built-in CD Recorder/CD Player. This means you can record your
records permanently
to a CD! It plays 33-1/3, 45, and 78 rpm r
Gee, you're in very good luck! heaps of devices around for doing that
including turntables that plug into the USB port of your computer,
even turntables with a CD-RW drive in them so you can dubb the result
to a CD directly.
