Well, not using JAWS, I'm guessing here but I don't think it is a JAWS
issue. I think you have checked inadvertently or otherwise the mute
recording check box when setting up the recording. When I use the enhanced
sound card driver, all sounds come through the computer including speech,

you can do this with replay-radio using the "enhanced sound card" option for
the input. It will record the stream while not recording system and other
sounds including software speech. RD

Is there a way, with one soundcard and a program like Total Recorder (or
some other), to record streaming content, but not hear the JFW software
speech on the recordings?
I know the two obvious solutions are use a hardware synth, which I can't use
any longer, or add a second soundcar
