Does anyone have a tutorial or accessible manual for this radio, or
perhaps a podcast? Any opinions on it for a basic radio to listen
mostly to AM, FM, and some major shortwave stations?

Have you bought this receiver yet? If not then I’d recommend a good alternative
which is the Sangean ATS405
I have one, AM is excellent and Short Wave very good along with FM.
Its a wonderful built set but then again what Sangean set isn’t?

When I bought mine I never even thought about a manual or tutorial, its easy to
use so that’s one of the good reasons why I like it.
There are of course some keystrokes you’ll have to remember but they’re not
important to the overall operation of the radio itself and they’re easy enough
to reme
