Both for different reasons Chris, [pool] is an external I've had
problems compiling and getting to work consistently, and SSSAD
is overly complex imho.
I think its great if a simple to use, intuitive, consistent
and completely intrinsic solution can be arrived at.

I believe you can get it from the pd cvs; it is also included in

The Pd console seems to just endlessly fill which eats away at memory
slowly but surely. Is there a clear command to free the memory?
Also, flushing the contents to disk would be useful.

On pd-0.39.2-extended-rc2, you should not use the libdir support.
It's embedded. The 'libdir' library is only used on newer versions.

Ok, I updated libquicktime so it should include libavcodec support.
That's my guess as to what's happening here. A local Fink install
won't make a difference since all of the libs are included in the
Pd.app.
Please try one of the auto-builds:
http://autobuild.puredata.info/auto-build/lat
You'll need to use the latest test version, since there have been a
number of crucial improvements in the serial support. Also, these
objects will be included:

I need something that can tell me when a phasor~ with a variable playback

Any contenders?

My experience is, that only the visible part of the patch window will
be printed (to postscript). That is, not the part, if any, that is
not visible in the patch window.

Tried Pd-0.40.2-extended-2007-04-26-macosx104-powerpc and the gem and pdp

Gem shows up in the output window at startup, but does not run in the
patches.
Wish I knew more on how all this works...
