particular reason you want to use exactly this version? The official

Hallo,
I made an *almost* Pd vanilla version, that performs really well. It's "almost"
because it requires an operation, that currently is an external, but Miller has
expressed his intention to include it in one of the next versions here:

I've just modified svn makefile and done this:

also ann_mlp doesn't like the free function, so I've just removed it.

we did not manage this, as we trying to compile things, but allways failed

so the dll are in src folder...and seem to work.
I've learned to compile on windoze with using this:
http://puredata.info/docs/developer/WindowsMinGW
also you might need to do
export CC=gcc
before compiling anything in pd-extended with mingw, usually one just need to
go to external folder and

Hi,
I was looking for a equalizer software that works with jack. I want to
equalize a bit the sound of my bad headset microfone, and route it to pd,
etc. I tried jack rack, but after working fine once it started giving
problems and creating a weird digital feedback. I also looked at jack eq,

Hi all,
I can't figure out why the message 'clear' in this patch is not sent to

My guess:
Trigger sequences the messages one after the other, but still within one
event, or timeframe...or what's the name...
So
thanks, just tried it. it looks nicer than jackrack, but it uses lots of
cpu, even before I connect it with jack or touch any controls. is that
your experience as well?

Hi Tim,
Thanks it works, the patch is just for simplicity. There were more
conditions needed to reset the [oneshot] in the actual one...kind of
beautiful in it's futile state however.

Hello all,
I'm trying to get pdopencv to work on my stock lenny system, but it
appears ffmpeg and libhighgui packages are out of sync, and I don't want
to deal with a mixed SID system (as that got me into trouble in the past!)
Both using the debs and compiling from source results in:

Lenny's versions of those are too old, you need to use a backport or a
squeeze version.

i guess you'd have to compile Opencv too,
it's not so difficult...
but i the pdopencv package for lenny doesn't work,

I'll see if I can upgrade just my opencv and ffmpeg packages. (Does

As for the deb, indeed it does not work for lenny, since opencv does not
work for lenny ATM, a squeeze package instead of the lenny one would
make it clear that lenny
Hi,
I trying to compile pd-extended on my Linux (mostly Gentoo).
I wnat ot to doit from source.
In the instruction I found this sentence:
"If you don't already have the Pd sources, then read GettingPdSource. Once you
have all of the sources and the patches are applied, you can start compiling."
That line should be removed, the patches are now included in the pd-
extended branch in SVN.

Nope, go for it. It won't do quite what you expect. You probably need
to set DESTDIR or something. Like:
make DESTDIR= prefix=/usr/local install
(double-check that, its from the top of my head)
