Yes. i'm Russian. We were making translation for cSoundBook , and maybe i will
do it for the PD-manual (or maybe Google will do ))) .
But i do not think it's a good idea to translate interface. Russians in
general learn English in schools and understand it.

A friend of mine has a dual-boot Mac with Mac OS and Ubuntu and uses
Ubuntu very sporadically.
On Ubuntu, she has Pd-Extended installed which was installed more than a

Yes, IOhannes said it well, I have no doubt that Russians are good at
English, I am saying lots of people prefer their native language :).
That's why Canadian English was the first translation of Pd.
And me, I just like seeing Pd in alphabets besides Latin, I think it
looks cool :-D
