This all started with my pd classes in portuguese in Brazil, I then
developed this tutorial that got kinda big.
I'd show it to international friends around and they seemed interested, some
told me about having a spanish version or french but I could only do it in
english. For

parent patches sending info to abstractions via arguments

last year Mathieu, that I'm holding to do an update this year, which is the
last year of my phd. Hopefully for PdCon11 I can have a proper update on the
research and include also other psychoacoustic models I've been working
with.

I haven't read or thought about it. But you'd have to tell how is that so,
and how evil it is, then I may see why it's a bad idea.
Don't know if it's doable anyway, and something tells me it might not be...

carrying free music softwares, why not have there a version of Pd?

I've been trying to use a big oscilator bank to resynthesize sounds. So I'm
using [sigmund~].
Thing is that I'm realizing it's quite impossible to deal with this as if it
were a Synth/Resynth patch with Fourier Transform. And I mean that it will

say I got a [send] object and many pairing [receive]... how do you predict
the ordering of messages, or can't you do it at all? Meaning, which receive
will actually receive the data first? The one that was first connected?
My hint is that you have no way to control this

anyway, I'm sending the patch attached as a text. Apparently, if I create
first some other patch and use [openpanel] and
my bad, it goes from belzier curve to draw as "points"...
it does change and keep it when changing from points to polygons and
vice-versa, by the way.

By the way, while toying around with ssb modulation and Amplitude
Modulation, it occured to me that if you feed both modulation a positive
amount, the fundamental keeps the same, and you have a distorted spectrum :)
& that's cheap and easy!!!

I adapted my Live Phase Vocoder Abstraction [LPVoc] to a sample based Phase
Vocoder --> [PVoc].
Works with Mono & Stereo, but can be used for more channels. PVoc & LPVoc

It is not the first time I see it unstable, sometimes it crashed here or
there in one or another patch, but usually working most of the time.
Now it just about never works. Not in Pd-Extended, and not in Pd-Vanila.
Him there seems to be another bug here on Pd-Exetended 0.41-4. When I go
into an Array's properties and click on "view as list" I get an error, and
no list.

Hi there, is there any way to get the patch's path (as in openpannel, but
just the enclosing folder and not also the file) directly from the patch
using some trick or object? I did program a gadget with openpanel, s2l, list
split, l2s... but I was wondering if there were any easier ways.

As a composer attending composition courses in brazilian universities I was
presented with the idea that MAX was "professional" and "stable. and pd
"experimental" and "unstable". Another given point is that MAX had some
wonderful capabilities that Pd might never, giving
