Sorry all that happened but it was an amusing story. I could just see
myself getting into the same situation. That is probably the biggest
plus to digital - buy a huge card or two and not worry so much about
film changes.

on ebay as it was at say B@H or similar, as the price was still cheap than
buying it in Australia and the international shipping rates for small items
