Hello all... A Vivitar Series 1 90/2.5 Macro is up for auction on eBay, but it doesn't seem right. The adapter is K mount, but the lens is screw mount. Is this the way these lenses are? I've got to use the adapter to use the lens? Maybe I should look into the 105/2.5 instead... Thanks, Tim -

Well thanks for the feedback on this great lens. I was indeed the A*85mm F1.4, and is in practically mint condition, except expected maks on the bayonet and a little dust on the lens. I ended up getting it for 400Euros($)!!! which, according to members on this listis a good deal. Now to play

APS is a pretty good system. You would think the cameras makers and film makers could improve the 35mm film cassette design. DX happened a long time ago and no improvement beyond that. You would think they would have looked at 35mm and decided that something better could be designed in cameras
