I know it is a consumer zoom but it is still very welcome IMO.
IST-D(s) are affordable DSLRs and such zooms are logical steps in
the right direction.
Now, D-FA 50mm and brighter zooms are definitely needed.

course - camera in auto mode. The shutter speed can still be selected

I have been looking at this lens to go w/ a K-1000 (hoping to expand it beyond
