I suspect that quality control issues are what has delayed the DA* 60-250. Hopefully, this long delay is a sign that Pentax is revising manufacturing and/or quality control procedures. My first DA* 16-50 was defective (misaligned focus plane). My second one is great. My DA* 50-135 was fine,

I can kind of answer that. There are at least two types of Ilford Pearl Classic Pearl and Classic Gloss are for dye based inks only Smooth Pearl and Smooth Gloss are for pigment based ink, but you might also use dye based. Check the box or web site. Also, Ilford does have profiles for their pa

LOL I have 3 tape measures here at work & the first thing I check when I buy one is to make sure they have both imperial & metric scales. I've had to measure up enough old boats that it's become a major deciding factor. It's just easier to write down 18" rather than 457.2mm :-) Cheers, Dave 2
