I got two good converters (and some not so good ones too)
I made a small test of the two good ones:
Sigma APO 1.4x with a focus screw driver
Pentax-F 1.7 AF converter - it makes my old MF lenses do AF.
Using two lenses:
Pentax FA* 2.8 80-200mm (IF) ED - for the Sigma converter - @
The universe is a weird place. Today I find another SMC K 28mm f3.5
that was listed BIN for $18. A few moments later an SMC K 200mm f4,
BIN $18. While I was gloating, I missed the SMC K 135mm BIN for $18.
That'll teach me.

A few thoughts come to mind - the simpliest might be using a reflector -
gold will add a nice warm touch brighten the scene some.
Don't know what lens or settings used but a longer lens would help some to
remove some of the distraction from the background
Nice but it needs room to breathe along the top, bottom LH side.
