I never partition the drives. If possible use the fastest drive (7200 rpm) for Windows and a second drive for the swap file. A second slower drive for the swap file results in a faster system compared to one (fast) drive setup. For backup of photos from USB 2 USB a sync tool is handy for instance

Definitely better in color, definitely not junk. I don't find the left edge of the frame (from about where the tree on the left is) as appealing as the rest, but trimming it, without trimming the top and bottom would leave a weird aspect ratio, and a lot of the interesting stuff is happening
