The calendar indicates today is Thanksgiving, but the weather forecasters
apparently haven't noticed; today's forecast is for calm and clear with a high
of 69 F.
Actually I do, at times, miss the old days in the Midwest, and the bracing
chill felt if you lost your spot near the fireplace.
