My ISP never provides an manual either. If we get change providers and/or get a different modem/router I Google the make and model and usually am able to come up with an electronic version of the manual. Every modem I've had from different providers has had the same IP address - 192.168.0.1

Are you printing with "PS Elements controls printing" or using the printer's color controls? To get accurate results you need to use the former. Accurate profiles are also an issue. Can you choose a paper for which ics profiles for your printers are available? That makes all the difference.

I did a little test - took one file and printed it out three times on my R220 and three times on my R2400, changing the profile from SGRBto ADobe RGB, to Remove profile. within the same printer run, they all look identical to me... but the R2400 prints are simply overall lighter than the
