It definitely sounds like fun, but the number one
priorty must always be your own personal safety. If
the cars are running on ice and snow, then I certainly
would not want to be standing anywhere where you can
imagine a cars momentum might take it. I would try to
find a good corner to stand inside
I happen to own a Pentax F 17-28 fisheye zoom, and it
just so happens that I used that lens at the 17 end
for my current pic in the PUG
http://pug.komkon.org/01feb/rocke3.html
It sells for just over $400 US at B&H. It's definitely
a fun lens. And at the 17 end when shooting vertically
you have
> How much is it in us dollars?
There may be some confusion because of the decimal
point used instead of a comma to indicate thousands.
ie 59.000 yen = 59,000 yen. The current exchange rate
is about $1 US = 118 yen. Do the math and you get $500
US.

gher 3.7 vs 3.2 for the Vivitar
overall for whatever that's worth. Photodo has no test
results for the Phoenix lenses but I think this one is
identical to the Vivitar with the "life size
attachment" that permits 1:1. That's my 2k worth.
Good luck!
