CATEGORICALLY FALSE - this particular bokeh problem can be easily

Correct, the best HDTV is better presentation
than most if not all theaters in terms
of image quality. I just saw GRINDHOUSE
in the best theater in my area, cost me
$9.50 and the PQ was much WORSE than
a good HDTV presentation on my home theater.

the region-code enforcement works, de facto, without the
need
for a law.
If it's not a law, it can't be illegal. I'll believe it's illegal when
you
provide proof that a law exists instead of just supposing one does.

establishments in their cities. For
example, a couple of friends in Tel Aviv have region free DVD players.
And, as I said in an earlier post, they are readily available at
numerous outlets in San Francisco

I dont hardly watch televison either, I have a HD home theater
I screen movies on. There is a dramatic ( no pun intended ) difference
between TVS of
1988 and today's HD home theaters.

WRONG
region coding is not just rigging the market,
it allows DVDs to be released a specific
time after the theatrical release regardless
of the regional timing. If there was
no regional coding, the USA would have to
wait much longer for the global DVD
to be issued because in general many USA
I disagree because there are DVD hardware
and software licensing issues and these
region codings issues are part of those
licensing AGREEMENTS.

? DVD releases do
not
NEED to be delayed. Consumers do not derive ANY benefit from the region
coding.

they

Because, believe it or not, every single action and protocol is not

Then there must be some kind of loophole
or blantant disregard
you never had an HDTV then, if you arent
seeing your show, films, and events, in HD,
then the replacement is already overdue no matter
what year it is. HDTV is not just improved analog
TV, its an entire order of magnitude better all
new system and viewing experience.

yes
of you who have DVDequipthatcan playPAL

No. I said a yellow recommended speed sign is not a posted speed limit,
at
least where I live, and it's therefore not breaking a law to ignore a
suggestion. It is against the law to exceed the limit.
