Interesting topic...
In Italy they ranged, body+FA-1 finder, from ITL 1.
$500.00 to $600.00 if I remember correctly. (That didn't include a lens
or finder, those were extra).

In the UK at one point (1988ish), body only (no viewfinder or lens) -
about £1650.
