FullACK. Additionally: At the moment we are comparing the street
At a local shop, Kerrisdale Camera in Victoria, I was told that the *ist-D
would be available soon. This shop lists the 10D for $2499 and the D100
for $2699, bodies only. The *ist-D will be $2899, body and FAJ 18-35 lens.
All prices in Canadian dollars. Their prices on the C and N cameras seem
card.

A Canon L 16-35 lens is about $1300 USD.
That's 2.8 throughout.
Compare the quality to anything close to what Pentax offers.
The closest item is a 17-28 3.5-4.5 zoom - which
