A local retailer has the Pentax-F
17-28 fisheye for $300.
But then I found this for much less

Is one under-priced?
It's a tempting lens

I did use a subject line.
But I made the mistake of putting a ? instead of the word Question.
I think it got stripped for an illegal character.
Others,

I was planning on selling my F 17-28 fisheye zoom today on ebay so I took
it with me to work to photograph and write a description. I've been
missing its capabilities since going digital so I just had to try to find
a reason for keeping it. So I thought to myself
Very interesting. How will this lens cope with the longer registry distance of
medF cameras?

A couple of months ago I purchased a bargain-grade 17-28 Pentax Fisheye
Zoom from KEH. After receiving the lens and checking it out I wrote to
the list as it appeared to me to be mis-assembled (the lens, not the
list). It was focusing well past infinity at the infinity mark, and at

Bruce,
Stop it! You're gonna get me in big (LBA) trouble.
First you hit us up with all these great images from your southern Utah
trip and then this. But seriously, go ahead and post a couple examples
from this lens just to keep us salivating.

Dear group,
I see an opportunity to buy the above lens at a good price.
How is this lens? Any opinion? What would be a good price (in Europe =
normally lower than in USA!)
I love the fisheye effect of my smc-M28 with a HAMA fisheye adapter. Does
the Pentax give a strong fisheye effect? I could

In fact, I am not sure it is a fish eye type. The person is not selling it
like that. he does not know much about lenses., but in a test in a magazin
I
saw about SMC-F 17-28/ 3.5-4.5 being a fish eye. maybe there is also a
rectangular version?
It's a fisheye zoom. There is 1 version only. If
