somewhat closer (sometimes considerably closer - 2, 3 inches) than my eyes
tell me it should. Have you noticed such a tendency with yours?

I've just bought an AF Adapter 1.7X from a fellow PDMLer, and it seems
there's something wrong with it (the adapter, not the man :-) It seems the
adapter is focusing closer than it should (from 0.5 cm to a few cm - that's
1/5 of an inch, and then a few inches for those
The Pentax-F 1.7x adapter, I need to see the adapter again to write down
exactly what it says on it.

I have one, haven't used it much. Results I remember as a bit less quality than the
2x-A or 1.4x-A. You get the lens 'nearly' in focus, it does the rest. Remember to
use it with faster lenses - I've u
The local shop has an AF 1.7x adapter. I have never considered
using one and it seemed strange acting when I tried it. It looks as if it
has never been used. It is part of an SF1-N setup that is on consignment.
I believe they are asking $125 for it. Worth it? Is it useful?
