this is not true. When I replaced my stolen Pentax equipment with
Contax/Zeiss equipment a couple of years ago my insurance company
first offered me Nikon equipment. I didn't like what they offered

I think the main market for the Contax digital is commercial photographers who
are already using the Contax 645. Gives them a way to get into digital at an

camera. It's way too late. It cost twice as much as 6mpix Nikon and Canon
full frame sensor not withstanding. And there are the enormous selection of
seven lenses available for it, all at prices twice or more the price of any
APRIL LAUNCH FOR CONTAX N DIGITAL SLR
The Contax N Digital will be launched in the UK in April as planned,
despite delays to the February launch of the six-megapixel camera onto
the Japanese market. Fraser Allen, spokesman for Kyocera Yashica (UK),
confirmed that the camera will be in UK shops
