Forums is giving me problems signing in, but here's the answer. The vivitar has a somewhat larger cowel on the aperture lever. It worked fine on the original KM, KX, and K2 film cameras of the era. It needed to be cut down to fit in the mirror box of the later ME, MX, etc. If it has been used on a
