Fast 70-210 Lenses, where'd they all go?

It seems in the past there was a plethora of fast(er) 70/80-200/210 lenses available. The Vivitar 2.8/4 or 3.5, the Pentax A 4.0, etc. All of the new AF lenses seem to be slow, 4-5.6 or slower and variable aperture or the other extreme, faster 2.8 constant and very, very expensive. Does anyone kno

Don, I don't know what your price range is. The excellent (emphasis) Sigma EX AF 70-200 f2.8 can be had for $500+ used, but you may need to search for one for a while. Keep in mind that at 210 mm., your SMC F 70-210 is very sharp wide open -- if you can solve the focusing problem. I assume you
