Wow - they have simplified switching the center post to being mounted
sideways. On the 3021 that I have the process of switching to the side
mount is fairly cumbersome, since you have to unscrew the center post,
reconfigure it to be side mounted, and then screw it back together.

post it is easy to get the camera right on the ground if you want, but I
