Leon,

Hi Mark,
These are some pictures from last weekend. I haven't cropped them,
though I normally would. All are taken with the FA100 f2.8 macro at f22.

All I can say is - Wow! That looks like a helluva setup. Do you have
some sample shots taken with it?
I haven't gotten around to making a spacer to use with the setup I've
been fooling with - I've been thinking about using a cork with velcro on
each end, and all I've managed to do so far is obt

giving the flash at least 2 days with no batteries in it before you
start working on it to make sure there is no power left in it.
If possible check the specs on the ring flash tube to make sure it
doesn't need a hi

Thanks for the info. I've been meaning to get round to splicing the TTL

Mike,
The unit looks a bit cobbled together, but it works fine and the AF360
is completely usable as a standard flash. Here are some of the salient
points from when I made it. I'm not going to take it apart to take

I've managed to snap the hotshoe off a Super A (Twice)! The first time
I hadn't put it away properly and it had an AF80C ring flash on it. I
had to run about 200 metres through soft mud to get to a phone to call
for an ambulance - one of the people I was with had a suspected blue

Thanks - that's a good idea. The flash has velcro around the end so I

Just thick enough that you have to wedge it in place and that will take most
of the stress off.

Basically, that's a Bogen hotshoe ball head mounted on end of a Pentax
TTL flash cord, with the other end on the ball head. As you can se
