Leon, Very interesting photos and equipment. I'm happy to see what the camera can be coaxed into doing. Regards, Bob S. On 4/27/07, Leon Altoff <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Hi Mark, > > These are some pictures from last weekend. I haven't cropped them, > though I normally would. All are taken w

Mike, The EHT won't kill you. It hurts but it won't kill you. I also suggest giving the flash at least 2 days with no batteries in it before you start working on it to make sure there is no power left in it. If possible check the specs on the ring flash tube to make sure it doesn't need a hi

Mike, The unit looks a bit cobbled together, but it works fine and the AF360 is completely usable as a standard flash. Here are some of the salient points from when I made it. I'm not going to take it apart to take internal photos. Like all modern electronics it's very tight and delicate in

Hi Mark, I've managed to snap the hotshoe off a Super A (Twice)! The first time I hadn't put it away properly and it had an AF80C ring flash on it. I had to run about 200 metres through soft mud to get to a phone to call for an ambulance - one of the people I was with had a suspected blue ri
