where motors were powered inappropriately. For instance if the SR
circuit was malfunctioning the current drawn would likely be within
the spec of the battery but the SR system may not be able to
adequately dissipate the heat deve
I've never had exactly that experience with a camera, but I've had
massive discharges from batteries when a dead short developed in a
circuit. I'd be wary of any device that did that once. Those types of
problems seldom fix themselves.
