I found the nut to fit the lug purely by accident. I
had a box full of broken cameras and other items that
I went through and came across the nut that ended up
working perfectly. The threads on the lug are very
fine. I had tried a number of machine nuts (metric)
but none did the trick.

It may be anchored to the Grip A or B in the style of LX2000 grip. Thus
supporting the camera in landscape format even when the grip is fitted.
However, I have not fitted one - Cotty, Rob Studdert, Brendan McRae, and
Anton all have, as far as I know. The crucial point is to anchor
