LX trouble

I'm having some trouble with my LX in Av mode. Whenever it meters a shutter speed of 1/125 or below it will open the shutter for an unusually long time (like 1/2 second or longer). It seems to work fine with faster shutter speeds (1/250 and above, metered), and works fine when not in Av mode
