Made? Far as I'm aware, the FA20-35/4 AL is still in production. It

You may want to consider the Vivitar Series 1 19-35/3.5-4.5. Comes in a
KA/Ricoh mount that works just fine with the ZX-M, the ME Super, and other
older Pentax bodies, but you won't want to mount it on a newer AF body: it
will unforgivingly jam on the mount.

The A24/2.8 is definitely a nice lens, but they tend to run higher
than $100 when you can find them. The A28/2.8 is generally findable
at around $85-100 these days and is also quite a good lens ...
perhaps not quite as sharp wide open as the 24, but still an
excellent performer. M series le

About the only wide-angle zoom lens I can think of at that price,
new, is the DA18-55 supplied in a kit purchase with *ist DS body.
