OK so the list isn't exactly short of these but here are my impressions
after receiving a MZ-S from my wife for my birthday whilst on holiday last
week (yes she's wonderful, only thing that puzzles me is how did she know?
:)):
1. The general feel and finish are superb. The grip is somewhat larger

thanks for sharing your impressions and describing those
characteristics of MZ-S of which many haven't been mentioned yet. I'm

First I've totally omitted comments on the shutter-lag (or lack thereof!).
I found the shutter button to be similar in nature to the LX's. The first
stage for focusing was, however, quite sensitive; in fact there s
