I am the same way. I don't wear eyeglasses, but I just can't work
comfortably with it all the time. Mine is in a pouch and will only
get used in some situations. I don't find it a replacement for the
regular cup.

In fact I was quite interested in what you were thinking about this
camera because I bought it second hand as a present for my father
(used to his full auto PZ10..). When I got it I sweared I would never
offer a camera like that: plastic everywhere :(

protection on my ist-D, I couldn't read the screen properly (it was

I have the Magnifying Eyepiece FB whiche _really_ magnifies the finder,
but it also makes it dark, even when zoomed to the lowest magnification
setting.

I just ordered the O-ME53 Magnifying Eyecup from B&H, to use on the K10D.
I plan to use that, and probably a Katz Eye screen with split prism,
to make up for the small viewfinder (I know it's pretty good for what
it is, but I'd like one like the MX)
