Here in Canada, every lab I've ever used (pro, 1-hour, department store) offers 8x12s as well as 8x10s. I used to crop my shots sort of tightly, but now I usually shoot with 8x10 proportions in mind. Even so, I often order an 8x12 print and cut it myself, so I get the exact cropping I want. 8x10

Hello Simon, I get 8X12's printed quite commonly. You have to go a lab that will do it - my local Sams Club will not print them. The lab I normally use will print them. As for frames/mats, 8X12 is not common but does exist. The family may not have ever looked in a full service lab or frame sto
