I moved from an OM1 to the Pentax ME-Super to get more reliable metering.
The OM1 was ok when it was working, but I was getting it re-calibrated every
6 months or so . . . I had been through that with a Nikkormat and just did
not see the need to put up with that hassle. Maybe if you use
I understand that the metering in the OM1 is fairly
primitive. This would seem to be it's weakest link.
And if you recall I am looking for a system for
shooting chromes almost exclusively. I was thinking
along the lines of an OM1 for tripod mirror locked up
type shooting and as a back-up for a OM
