It's like a Toshiba laptop. Well, some models at least. There's no
dedicated WiFi switch, there's a, not particularly well marked, keyboard
combination to turn WiFi on and off. The documentation is sorely
lacking in explaining this. The urge to throw said laptop out a window

Actually I love that feature as it disables and shutter noise and the AE
assist lamp - makes the camera really undetectable in operation.
